The essential factors here are the use of environmentally friendly products, energy efficiency, waste management, regional added value and social responsibility. These goals are in line with the long-term climate strategy of the South Tyrolean regional government, which has set itself the goal of reducing CO2 emissions per person to less than 4 tonnes within 2020 and to less than 1.5 tonnes per year and person by 2050 at the latest.<br \/>\nThe IFSC Climbing World Cup in Brixen also wants to act sustainably and has therefore registered as a &#8220;going GreenEvent&#8221;. For this, the organisers have to implement criteria from the subject areas of resources, waste, mobility, catering, energy, communication, noise and bonus (alcohol and accessibility).<\/p>\n<p>The trend towards more ecologically compatible events is becoming ever stronger. A sustainable event not only contributes to environmental protection, but also brings a marketing advantage vis-\u00e0-vis sponsors, patrons and the public.<br \/>\nThe certification and awarding of the &#8220;GreenEvent&#8221; distinction is carried out by the Office of Waste Management.<\/p>\n<p>The checklist of all the measures implemented by the OC team of the IFSC Climbing World Cup Bressanone can be <a href=\"https:\/\/climbingfestival-brixen.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/23_BWC_Checkliste_GreenEvent_DE1.pdf\">downloaded <\/a>here.<\/p>\n<p>We also ask the public for their help in making the event as environmentally friendly as possible.
