Brixen is a sports town – not only climbing has a long tradition here, but also handball, cycling and of course winter sports. The mountains that surround the valley basin invite to sport activities. 427 km of hiking trails lead from the town to the mountains. Ski down the sun-drenched slopes of the Plose on perfectly groomed slopes, with the imposing mountains of the Dolomites in view. With almost 2,000 hours of sunshine a year, your vacation in Brixen and its surroundings will be an unforgettable experience at any time of year.
After the sportive activity you can look forward to the lived hospitality in Brixen. The Vertikale climbing center is located in the center of town and invites you to take a stroll through the old town – including a cappuccino break or two! The swimming pool “Aquarena” is directly adjacent to the climbing center and offers a refreshing change after a strenuous day of climbing – or just a stroll through town.
